The I.DEA team is really excited to introduce the newest member of our fashion family, KARAT JEWELRY - the handmade jewellery brand, all the way from Croatia -. now available for loan in our Central London showroom and the latest addition to our online shop. Karat Jewelry pieces arrive just in time for the gift giving season!

Designer, Rene Krasnic Velicki, is proud of KARAT’s rich history, its heritage and its rise and fall. Her great grandfather, a jewellery maker, opened boutiques in different cities of ex-Yugoslavia. After he passed away, the business, taken over by her great grandmother and her 3 children (one of them Rene’s father), fell into decline and was unfortunately left with just one store - in Osijek, Croatia, where the brand is now based. After graduating from King’s College, London, the designer moved back home to review the family heritage.

Each design, drawn by the designer herself, is an everlasting and timeless piece. These lovingly crafted pieces embody elegance and femininity so we hope you’ll love KARAT JEWELRY as much as we do!
