The micro collection “I've Been Too Fucking Busy - or Vice Versa” was created as a visual note of the subjectivation of time. The quote comes from the American poet, critic and satirist Dorothy Parker who, when asked by her publisher why her work had not been submitted while on her honeymoon, she answered: "I've been too fucking busy, or vice versa". This shows the unclear lines between work and free time, and LalicA found this very appropriate and witty. The collection represents the contemporary imperative: life must be interesting. And in that case, idleness becomes compulsion, transforming itself into productive slavery - a fantastic opportunity to achieve one’s full potential.
