BELGRADE FASHION WEEK 30.10.20 - 07.11.20
BELGRADE FASHION WEEK
30.10.20 - 07.11.20
The Covid-19 pandemic gave us a reason to slow down, to reflect, to adapt and to overcome. Following this pattern, whilst also combining fashion’s resilience and resourcefulness: Belgrade Fashion Week is redefining the standards of maintenance within cultural and fashion projects. Presenting one of the first of its kind, Belgrade Fashion Week is proud celebrate design talent from around the world through the medium of live shows, panel talks and online media to collectively form the hybrid event - Perwoll Fashion Week.
Not only a supportive platform that champions creativity and emerging talents, BFW is also heavily concerned with the continuous education of all things fashion, whilst considering their social responsibility. This season BFW will go beyond the realm of fashion to explore issues such as sustainability in the form of panel discussions, as well as cooperating with the Association of Women with Breast Cancer and the ‘Stronger Than Fear’ project. BFW will provide an internationally accessible platform designed to unify fashion followers with a wider audience to achieve the spread of important messages of empowerment.
At I.DEA PR we are once again extremely excited to be working with the inclusive and supportive platform to celebrate Belgrade’s 47th Fashion Week. Designers BULKA and LalicA will be presenting new collections and we for one cannot wait to see what’s next from the talented creatives. Aleksandra Lalić will no doubt captivate us with feminine silhouettes and playful prints on October 31st with her latest collection entitled ‘My Sweet Girl, So Scared You Forgot About Death’. Furthermore, fresh from their presentation at LFW Digital under the umbrella of Fashion Scout, BULKA’s designer Nina Bogosavljev will again showcase her latest collection of wearable art. Tune in to the digital video November 3rd to see how the fusion of Indian culture and Serbian Heritage is blended in to colourful compositions and poetic prints!
Be sure to follow all BFW related events from October 31st - November 7th as they utilise the advantages of modern technology with streaming available on popular portals such as Belgrade Fashion Week’s official Facebook, Instagram and Youtube accounts. We are extremely excited to see what this engaging and informative event that will put Belgrade at the forefront of leading the new normal in the digital orientated and sustainability dedicated post-corona landscape, will bring!
