What you should know about... Ana Ljubinković
I.DEA PR and Ana Ljubinković’s longstanding relationship started in 2013 after Ana took part in the International Fashion Showcase Serbia at London Fashion Week.
Based in Belgrade, Serbia, Ana graduated from the Faculty of Fine Arts with a degree in Painting. Upon graduation, she decided to bring to life the fashion sketches she had made during the course of studies. Therefore, the designer`s thoughtful and well–conceived play with fashion “rules” is strongly evocative of its roots in visual arts. Ana Ljubinković has always been an experimenter with fabrics, colours and forms and a maximalist when it comes to shapes and details. Her collections embody all the positives of kitsch: its colour, its humor, its play. There is always a central story in her collections – her pieces conjure a mood, an atmosphere of what a perfect, dreamlike world should be like.
Since her first show 15 years ago, Ana has regularly been showing at Belgrade Fashion Week and has also showcased multiple times at Fashion Scout LFW and Central European Budapest Fashion Week. A favourite amongst celebrities and stylists, she’s been worn by Lady Gaga, Miley Cyrus, Paloma Faith, Little Mix and has been featured in magazines such as L’Officiel, Hunger, Vogue.co.uk and many more.
